A strange land called Australia - Fablice
Irahiza (G-Storm) was seven when both his parents were killed by the waring factions during the Burundi civil war—one was a Hutu, the other aTutsi. He lived on the streets for some time and attended school during the day. Although he was taken from school to become a child soldier, he managed to escape and his family helped him find his older sister and child, in a Rwandan refugee camp. After much hardship and hunger, the three of them were granted visas to Australia in 2007.
This is the story of Fablice who was orphaned at 7, lived on the streets and attended school during the day. He was taken from school to become a child soldier; he managed to escape, find his sister and arrive in a country where he thought the locals might eat him.
